The Rundown: A motley team of heroes finds themselves on the run from some powerful forces.

McCormick and Miller find themselves in a shootout with heavily armed and military trained forces and protected by the magical shield of Owen Blackwood, an agent of Wolvenheart. At the same time, Bosko is trying to escape the burning building and is forced to return to retrieve the clock. He also sends his forces to track down the group and take them out.

McCormick and Miller learn more about their new passenger before they have to stop. When he group is attacked by more mercenaries, they discover some unexpected help in the form of the highly skilled and deadly Velveteen.

The Story: London crafts a thrilling and entertaining story in this issue. It’s a great follow up to the premiere issue for anyone who has been following the characters in other comics. I like the progression of action and the way the stakes are being raised for each of the characters in turn. It’s going to be fun to see where this story goes next.

The Art: Derenick delivers impressive, beautifully detailed and stylish art throughout the issue. The visual style is impressive and there are some great action beats, especially towards the end.
